Talk to Dr. White to find out if Invisalign is a good option for you, and learn more below.

Can Invisalign Improve My Teeth?

Most likely. Invisalign can correct a wide variety of common alignment conditions. It has been successfully used to fix gapped or crooked teeth, uneven bites, and teeth crowding.

More than just beauty, properly aligned teeth are also important for good health.

When teeth are correctly positioned there is a good fit between teeth and gums and proper spacing in the mouth. This allows for thorough cleaning and offers a strong defense against periodontal disease.

Good oral health is tied to your entire well-being.

How Does Invisalign Work?

The first step is to make an appointment with Dr. White. He will talk to you about your goals and the benefits and responsibilities of the Invisalign treatment program.

Once you have determined that Invisalign is a good choice, here’s what you can expect from the treatment process:

A Customized Treatment Plan

Dr. White will create a customized treatment plan for you. He will carefully map your teeth using x-rays, impressions, and 3D imaging technology. He will create a plan for moving your teeth and show you what to expect during the process. Total treatment time typically lasts from 9 to 15 months, and the number of aligners needed can range from about 18 to 30.

Custom Aligners

Based on your treatment plan, a set of custom-made aligners is created. These aligners are made of a comfortable, BPA-free plastic. Simply wear your aligner for 20-22 hours each day. Remove it for eating, brushing and flossing. Approximately every two weeks, you will begin wearing a new set of aligners. Plan to visit with Dr. White about every 6 weeks to monitor progress. And during that time watch your smile transform.

A Maintenance Plan

In some cases, you will need to maintain the changes with retainers. Talk to Dr. White to learn how you can keep that beautiful smile.

Set up an appointment with Dr. White to find out how you can get the smile you have always wanted. Invisalign is a great choice for people who want to correct crooked teeth in a way that is discreet, gentle and effective.
